Your journey begins with a guided city tour at 09:00 AM, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Niyo Art Center. The Genocide Memorial provides a moving insight into Rwanda’s past, educating visitors on the history of the genocide while honoring the victims. The Niyo Arts Center offers a glimpse into Rwanda’s thriving creative scene, showcasing artwork from across Africa.

Enjoy lunch at Heaven Restaurant or Hôtel des Mille Collines before departing for Volcanoes National Park at 2:00 PM. Take in the stunning scenery along the way, with a brief stop for refreshments. Arrive at 5:30 PM, where you’ll check in and unwind over a welcome drink. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, followed by an overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. Overnight stay.

Volcanoes - Kigali

After an early breakfast, depart for the Gorilla Trek briefing at 07:00 AM, where you’ll be assigned a gorilla family. At 08:00 AM, begin your guided trek through the rainforest, where you’ll spend an hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Watching them play, eat, and interact is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and freshening up. At 2:30 PM, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village, where you’ll experience traditional Rwandan culture, local dances, and storytelling.
At 5:30 PM, depart for Kigali, arriving at 8:00 PM, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
