Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru and check in at Sarova Woodlands, an exclusive hotel. After lunch, relax before proceeding for an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, home to white rhinos and hundreds of bird species, including the famous flamingos. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast, continue your journey to the Masai Mara, arriving at Sarova Mara Game Camp in time for lunch. Rest before embarking on an afternoon game drive at 3:00 PM. Masai Mara Game Reserve is home to the "BIG Five" I.e. Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and leopard and you have great chances of spotting them while here. Return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Viewing in Masai Mara

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season (June - September), we will visit the Mara River for the breathtaking wildebeest migration spectacle. On this day, an optional early morning hot air balloon safari over the savannah is available, complete with a bush breakfast and champagne upon landing (Balloon ride rate: USD 450 per person).

After breakfast at the lodge, you have the option to visit a Maasai village before proceeding to Hell’s Gate National Park. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, explore Hell’s Gate, where activities include cycling, game tracking, and visiting the park’s scenic gorges. Hiking and rock climbing are also available for adventure enthusiasts.

Check out and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your 3:00 PM flight to Mombasa.
