Day 1

At 04:30 AM – Our driver will Pick you from your hotel in Dar es Salaam (pickup time varies with your Hotel location). Transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport (Terminal 2) for your 05:40 AM flight to Kigoma.
07:40 AM – Arrive in Kigoma, meet our driver, and transfer to Hilltop Hotel for breakfast.
09:00 AM – Depart by boat (1-hour ride) to Gombe National Park. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your lodge.
Afternoon – Enjoy lunch and leisure time—swim at the beach or unwind.
03:00 PM – Depart for a 30-minute waterfall hike, spotting primates along the way. Swim in the waterfall before returning to your lodge.
Optional: If you return early, enjoy kayaking and a beautiful sunset on the water.
0700PM - 0900PM - Dinner will be served followed by night relaxation.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking
Chimpanzee Trekking
07:00 AM – Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before heading to the park headquarters for registration. You will be assigned a guide who will accompany you during the chimpanzee trekking experience.
As you walk through the dense forest, be prepared for some steep slopes hiking gear is recommended. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the famous chimpanzee community that Jane Goodall studied since 1960. In addition to chimpanzees, you may also encounter other primates, birds, insects, and unique plant species.
The hike can take 4 to 6 hours, with a 100% chance of spotting them. The park is characterized by steep ridges and valleys, making for an adventurous and rewarding experience and we recommend having hiking gears.
Afternoon – After descending, you will return to your lodge for a short rest before enjoying a delicious lunch. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax and participate in beach activities, such as swimming, sunset viewing, and kayaking.

Day 3

07:00 AM – Enjoy breakfast at your lodge. You have the option to either go on a morning kayaking session or take a short chimpanzee hike (approximately 1 to 2 hours).
09:00 AM – Depart from the lodge and take a boat ride back to Kigoma city.
Upon arrival in Kigoma, you will meet our driver, who will take you on a city tour, exploring its rich history. Highlights of the tour include:
•A visit to the Port of Lake Tanganyika, where you will see century-old ships still operating since the colonial era.
•A stop at the Ujiji Museum, where you will learn about the history of slavery and famous explorers such as Dr. David Livingstone and Henry Morton Stanley.
•A guided walk through the historical sites of the former slave trade market.
Afternoon – You will then be transferred to your lodge, which offers stunning views of Lake Tanganyika, for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy the peaceful scenery before dinner is served at the lodge.

Wake up to a stunning view of Lake Tanganyika and enjoy breakfast at 6:00 AM.
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kigoma Airport for your 08:30 AM flight to Dar es Salaam.
Upon arrival at 10:40 AM, you will meet our driver, who will transfer you to your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
