Arusha To Lake Manyara

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8 am and begin your scenic journey across the Great Rift Valley for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Although relatively small (205 sq miles), the park offers breathtaking landscapes and is famous for its lush acacia forests, giant fig and mahogany trees, and a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is home to giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes, while the lake is a sanctuary for hippos. The stunning views along the lake, with giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background, provide incredible photo opportunities. Optional activities such as a bike tour or boat excursion can also be arranged. In the afternoon, return to the camp for dinner.

Drive To Serengeti

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Although the drive is long, the journey is incredibly scenic and will be an unforgettable experience for first-time visitors. As you venture deeper into the Serengeti, you'll understand why the name means "endless plains" in the local language. Spanning 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km), the park's vast plains seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, creating a surreal and awe-inspiring landscape. Serengeti is home to the Great Migration, with over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. It’s also a prime location for spotting big cats and large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. The park has been the backdrop for many famous wildlife scenes, such as the dramatic River Crossings often featured in documentaries.

Serengeti Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro

On this day, we suggest an early wake-up call to catch the best of the morning game drive when animals are most active, and to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises you'll ever see. After the drive, we'll return to the camp for a rewarding brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, known as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater spans 102 sq miles and is surrounded by 2,000-foot-high walls, creating a unique ecosystem that houses nearly every species native to East Africa. It's one of the few places in the world where you can spot the elusive black rhino. The crater features a river, swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, forests, and open plains. It’s also famous for its massive elephants, which are the largest in the world and sport enormous tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a marvel of nature. You’ll arrive in time to enjoy a sundowner with breathtaking views.
