Following breakfast, your safari guide will take you on a journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its thriving elephant herds, sweeping savannahs, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, all sustained by the life-giving Tarangire River. This vital water source attracts a diverse array of wildlife seeking relief from the African heat, including giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. The park is also home to buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests, which, in turn, draw the attention of formidable predators such as lions and leopards.

From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you will have the perfect vantage point to admire the breathtaking scenery and observe the rich wildlife. Midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, complete with coffee and soft drinks. The name "Serengeti" means "endless plains," an apt description for this extraordinary ecosystem, which is home to over two million wildebeest along with a diverse range of wildlife.

From January to April, the plains serve as a prime birthing ground for wildebeest, plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles, attracting formidable predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, drawn by the abundance of prey. The area also hosts numerous smaller mammals, including rock hyraxes, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares. Additionally, bird enthusiasts can marvel at over 500 species of birds inhabiting the region.
