Addis Ababa to Awash National Park In the morning, depart Addis Ababa and head towards Awash National Park, with a lunch stop along the way. In the afternoon, have the opportunity to observe the park's diverse wildlife and bird species. The park is home to around 80 mammal species, including Hamadryas and Anubis baboons, Beisa oryx, Soemmerring's gazelle, and Salt’s dik-dik. If you're fortunate, you might also see lesser and greater kudu, Defassa waterbuck, warthog, vervet and guereza monkeys, as well as spotted hyenas. Additionally, the park boasts over 460 bird species, including the endemic Ethiopian cliff swallow and yellow-throated serin.
Your overnight stay will be in Awash.

Exploring Harar Spend a full day sightseeing in Harar. Visit various museums, including the Abdela Sherif Harari City Museum and the Arthur Rimbaud Museum. The Abdela Sherif Museum is located in the former palace of Ras Mekennen (father of Emperor Haile Selassie) and is believed to be where the young emperor spent much of his childhood. The museum features over 300 ancient manuscripts related to the city, along with a collection of 18th and 19th-century Harari coins, traditional costumes, household items, weapons, and musical instruments. The Arthur Rimbaud Museum showcases exhibitions about the poet’s life and includes photographs taken in Harar around 1900, illustrating how the city and its residents have evolved over the past century.
