Day 1

You will be picked up from the airport or your lodge in Arusha or Moshi and driven to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive with a packed lunch. After the game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as a vital water source during the dry season, attracting a diverse array of wildlife. It is famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. As you explore, you'll witness a variety of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to vast savannahs. After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti National Park for a thrilling game drive, with a picnic lunch enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park. The game drive will continue in the afternoon before we arrive at the camp for the evening.

Serengeti National Park is famous for its vast migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests, particularly during the calving season, which is dependent on the rainy season. Keep an eye out for resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, as they actively participate in the circle of life.

You will rise early for an unforgettable game drive in Serengeti National Park, enjoying a packed lunch along the way. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will spend the evening at your accommodation near the crater rim for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

The next morning, you will descend into the crater for an exciting game drive. Early mornings are the ideal time for animal sightings, as the wildlife is most active during this time.

Home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, it also hosts diverse bird species like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Expect to encounter a wealth of wildlife in this breathtaking location.
