Your driver-guide will meet you at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. At Murchison Falls, witness the breathtaking power of the world’s most powerful waterfall. The park is also a birdwatcher's haven, home to 450 species, including the rare shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, white-thighed hornbill, and goliath heron, among others.
On the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first Big Five encounter, where you’ll enjoy an hour of rhino tracking. Afterward, have lunch at Kabalega Dinner before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation to unwind and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead the following day.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the northern section of Murchison, renowned for its high concentration of wildlife. Enjoy a game drive, capturing photos of elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. Afterward, return to your accommodation for lunch, then prepare for a 3-hour boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise is often considered the highlight of the safari, offering an up-close experience with wildlife in the water. As you sail, pass by large pods of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of aquatic birds on the northern bank, all while heading towards the mighty falls.
For those seeking an additional adventure, an optional hike to the top of the falls awaits. While challenging, the view from the top is an unforgettable reward. Afterward, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast at your accommodation, you’ll drive to the top of Murchison Falls (if you didn’t hike the day before) for a breathtaking view of the falls. Alternatively, you can head straight to Kibale Forest National Park after breakfast.
Kibale is renowned for its diverse primates, including chimpanzees, Colobus monkeys, mangabeys, and red-tailed monkeys. During your chimpanzee trek, you'll likely spot these species swinging through the trees or feeding on wild fruits. Upon arrival at your accommodation, you can check in and unwind. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax for the night.

Day 4

You will head to the forest head office for a briefing. Thereafter, start your trek with a ranger as early as 8:00 am. Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them!
Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will return to the lodge for lunch after which you will head out to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the evening and overnight at your booked accommodation.

Today, enjoy both a game drive and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Begin with an early morning game drive through the park, where you'll be treated to stunning views of the plains, valleys, terraced hills, and a rich variety of wildlife. Expect to see reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephants, lions, buffaloes, and more. Afterward, take a break and enjoy lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is home to large pods of hippos and Nile crocodiles, as well as a wide range of bird species, including pelicans, kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and occasionally crowned cranes. Return to your accommodation in time for dinner.

Day 6
Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. While spotting these lions is about 70% likely, they can sometimes be elusive.
Continue your journey to Bwindi, home to nearly 1,000 mountain gorillas—about half of the world's total population. The park is made up of several habituated gorilla groups that can be tracked. Its mist-covered hills are part of one of Uganda’s oldest and most biodiverse rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and housing nearly 400 plant species. Given the challenging day ahead, you’ll check into your accommodation on arrival and take it easy, preparing for the exciting gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

After an early breakfast and a briefing from your ranger guide, you will venture into the dense and stunning Bwindi Forest. The rainforest's beauty is truly breathtaking, with its dramatic, steep, and thick landscape crisscrossed by animal trails that allow for visitor access. The time spent and the terrain encountered will vary depending on the gorillas' movements. Once you find a gorilla group, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to spend an hour observing these gentle and endangered creatures—a thrilling and unforgettable experience.
Afterward, return to your lodge for lunch, then check out and begin your transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is surrounded by lush, green-terraced hills that rise between 2,200 and 2,478 meters, but what truly sets Lake Bunyonyi apart are its 29 islands of various shapes and sizes, making it a truly magical place to behold. It’s also the third deepest lake in Africa, reaching depths of 900 meters.
