Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be met by airport representative and ushered thru immigration. Our driver then will transfer you to the hotel to rest and overnight. Depending on your arrival time, we can add Kigali city tour and / or visit to Genocide Museum in the afternoon.

Day 2
Drive to Nyungwe Forest
Drive to Nyungwe Forest
Today you will drive to Nyungwe forest. The drive is about 5h and the roads are very good in Rwanda and its very safe. You will arrive tot he lodge for late lunch. Your driver will tell you stories about Rwanda and its history while driving.
Afternoon at rest or we can add activity here.

Day 3
Chimpanzee trekking
Chimpanzee trekking
Today you will do chimp trekking in Nyungwe forest. This activity will take you half of the day. Afternoon at rest. The hiking pace is usually relaxed, but it does speed up if the chimpanzees are on the move. The landscape is usually not as steep as it is for gorilla trekking, which means a lower level of fitness is required. But you still need to be able to walk for three to seven hours.

Day 4
Driving to Volcanoes National Park
Driving to Volcanoes National Park
Today you will drive to Volcanoes NP. This drive is about 5 h on a good roads. You will arrive at your lodge for late lunch. Afternoon at rest. We can add activity here in the afternoon.
At the lodge one bottle of house wine per person in the room is included in any rate and

Day 5
Gorilla trek
Gorilla trek
This will be an early morning. You have to be at the park gate at ^ am for the briefing. Have breakfast at the lodge, go gorilla tracking, carrying your packed lunch. You will be accompanied by a guide and porters who will carry your shoulder pack for you at $20 per porter (optional) and paid directly. You will then set off to the thick forest in search of gorillas. The time taken to track the gorillas varies enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 7 hours before one returns to camp. Difficulty, however, is not impossibility and coming face to face with the great primates is well worth it!
After the trek, rest at the lodge.

Drive back to Kigali
Drive back to Kigali
This is your last day. After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive back to Kigali (about 3H) International Airport for your flight back home.
