Your Josh Dreamland Safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast. This morning, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive on well-maintained tarmac roads.

Your Josh Dreamland Safari guide will pick you up after breakfast for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, the park is famous for its large elephant herds, as well as giraffes, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards. Bird lovers will enjoy its rich diversity, while ancient baobab trees add to the beauty. After a picnic lunch and an exciting game drive, you’ll head to your accommodation for rest.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

On this day, after an early breakfast at Suricata Boma Lodge in Mto wa Mbu, the client will depart for Serengeti National Park. The journey, approximately 5-6 hours, takes them through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where they may spot wildlife along the way. A brief stop at the Ngorongoro viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the crater.

Upon entering Serengeti National Park, the client will begin an afternoon game drive, exploring its vast savannahs, rich with wildlife like lions, elephants, cheetahs, and giraffes. They’ll continue their safari until sunset before heading to their accommodation inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay, immersing themselves in the sounds of the wild.

The day in Serengeti National Park begins with an early breakfast at the lodge, followed by a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. The vast plains come alive with lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas hunting, while elephants, giraffes, and zebras roam freely.

By mid-morning, the client can return to the lodge for a short break or enjoy a picnic breakfast in the bush. The adventure continues with a drive through the Seronera Valley, a prime spot for big cats and abundant wildlife.

After a leisurely lunch at the lodge, the afternoon game drive takes them deeper into Moru Kopjes or the Hippo Pool, where they can witness hippos and crocodiles. As the sun sets, they return to the lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax under the African night sky, ending an unforgettable day in the Serengeti.

By mid-morning, the journey to Ngorongoro Highlands begins, passing through the scenic Serengeti plains and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, they may encounter Maasai herders with their cattle and wildlife like giraffes and antelopes. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated stop, offering breathtaking views of the landscape.

In the late afternoon, the client arrives at their lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands, surrounded by lush green hills and cool breezes. They can relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s adventure in Ngorongoro Crater.

The day starts with an early breakfast at the lodge in Ngorongoro Highlands, followed by a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. The client descends into the crater, a wildlife-rich paradise and one of Africa’s most stunning natural wonders.

The morning game drive offers an opportunity to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. Herds of zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles graze across the plains, while elephants roam the acacia forests. The hippo pool and Lake Magadi provide excellent birdwatching, with flamingos and other waterfowl creating a colorful scene.

A picnic lunch is enjoyed at a designated site inside the crater, surrounded by incredible views. In the afternoon, the game drive continues before ascending the crater rim. The client then heads to their next lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands, where they can relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on the day's adventure.
