Day 1

Ziwa rhino sanctuary

Ziwa rhino sanctuary

On this you shall be picked up by our safari guide and transferred to ziwa rhino sanctuary. Ziwa rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where rhinos can be found. One arrival you shall trek the rhinos with help of a ranger. Later we shall transfer to Murchison falls national park where we shall visit the top of the falls.

Day 2

Game drive and boat cruise

Game drive and boat cruise

On this day we shall have an early morning game drive in Murchison falls national park. During the game drive we hope to se a variety of wildlife ranging from kobs, elephants, waterbucks, baboons, leopards and lions if lucky. In the afternoon we shall go for a boat ride along the Nile. This boat ride brings us up-close with wildlife along the banks of the Nile such as elephants, hippos, crocodiles and a variety of bird species.

Day 3

Transfer to kibale

Transfer to kibale

On this day we shall set out very early and transfer to kibale forest national park. The drive is usually a 5 hour drive. On arrival we shall check into the lodge and proceed to bigodi wetland community. Here we shall visit the bigodi swamp wit hope to see a variety of monkey species and birds in the swamp. We shall also visit the local community if time allows us.

Day 4

Chimpanzee trekking

Chimpanzee trekking

On this day you shall get to trek the chimpanzees. We usually set out very early and go tp the starting point for registration and briefing about the chimpanzees. After you are grouped in groups of 8 and set out to start the days activity. After the trek we shall transfer to queen Elizabeth national park for a boat ride.

Game drive and transfer to ishasha

Game drive and transfer to ishasha

We shall set out for an early morning game drive in queen elizabeth national park kasenyi sector. Here we hope to see a variety of wildlife ranging from hippos, kobs, elepants, waterbucks leopards and lions if lucky. We shall then transfer to the southern sector where we shall also have an afternoon game drive with hope of seeing the tree climbing lions.

We shall set out for an early morning game drive in ishahsha sector of queen Elizabeth national park. The game drive will last approximately 4hours before we head back to the lodge to freshen up have lunch. After lunch we shall transfer to bwidi impenetrable national park.

Day 7

On this day we shall set out early in the morning for the morning briefing. At the briefing point you shall there be entertainment by a local dance group, a short brief about what to expect while doing the trek. You shall then be grouped in groups of 8 and then head into the forest with a ranger for the trek.

Day 8

Transfer to volcanoes national park

Transfer to volcanoes national park

On this day we shall transfer from bwindi across the border into rwanda. It's about a 3 hour drive to the next destination. On arrival we shall check into the lodge and later visit the Danna forcey museum. We shall get to see and learn the history of gorilla trekking in rwanda at this museum and the works of dianna forcey in the region.
