Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a Fast Track meet-and-greet and helped through immigration and luggage collection. Our representative holding a placard with your name on it will be waiting for you at the arrivals terminal to drive you to the hotel.
Depending on the time of your arrival, additional activities in Entebbe can be arranged.

Day 2

Fly to Bwindi

Fly to Bwindi

After breakfast at your hotel and transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Bwindi National Park. The flight takes about 1 h and is very early in the morning. Upon arrival at the Kihihi airstrip, pick up and transfer to the lodge. You will arrive at the lodge by lunch time. You can spend afternoon enjoying the lodge or we can arrange additional activities like visit to the local Batwa Community. Originally forest dwellers, the estimated 6,200 Batwa (2014 Uganda Population and Housing Census) in Uganda make up 0.2 per cent of the population. They have been almost entirely dispossessed of their land by the combined pressures of government departments responsible for conservation, and cultivators, notably Bakiga, claiming land. They live in south-western Uganda in the districts of Bundibugyo, Kabale, Kisoro and Rukungiri.

Day 3

Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking

Wake up and prepare for the unforgettable experience! After an early breakfast transfer to the park HQs for pre-Gorilla tracking briefing and about the gorilla family you will track then 08:00 AM. You will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins.
The trekking can take from 1 to 5 hours but sometimes it might take long hours, depending on the location of the gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest. - The terrain is rough and at times muddy. Although the hike is physically demanding the beauty of the forest and surrounding scenery make the trekking worthwhile. Once the gorillas are located all fatigue is forgotten, as the experience is often described as being the most profound natural history experience in the world.
Afterwards go back to the lodge for lunch.

Day 4

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today you will embark on the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes about 3h driving though QENP. But since you will probably stop for game viewing, the drive might take longer. Buffalo Safari Lodge is located near the magical Kazinga channel, 1km off Kasese-Mbarara road. Queen Elizabeth Park, Uganda. The resort lies in 25 private acres of wilderness, a serene environment full of spectacular flora and fauna – elephant, buffalo, hippo, warthog, and many bird species, all at the glance of an eye.
In the afternoon, you can go on the game drives or engage in other activities offered by the lodge (extra cost).
