Departing from Kigali, you'll explore several historical landmarks along the way, including Kamegeri Rock, the King's Palace Museum in Nyanza, and the Ethnographic Museum in Huye. After enjoying lunch in the afternoon, you'll continue your journey to Gisakura, where you'll spend the night at a recommended hotel, lodge, or guesthouse.

Day 2

After an early breakfast at around 4:45 am, you'll head to the starting point for chimpanzee trekking. Once the trek is complete, you'll embark on the canopy walkway adventure. Suspended 50 meters above the ground and stretching 200 meters in length, this walkway offers breathtaking views over a steep, lush valley in the heart of Nyungwe Forest. The elevated path takes you through the treetops, giving you a unique opportunity to spot various primates and bird species that thrive in the forest’s upper canopy.

Day 3
Tea Factory Tour and Lake Kivu
Tea Factory Tour and Lake Kivu
This two-hour guided tour of the tea factory offers an in-depth look into the tea production process. After the experience, you’ll either travel to Kibuye for a scenic boat ride on Lake Kivu and a visit to Napoleon Island or drive to Huye before heading back to Kigali. The tour concludes with a return drive to Kigali, followed by a transfer to the airport for your departure home.
