Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) arrival and Materuni Village Tour

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to Materuni Village, just a 45-minute drive from the airport for registration and ready to start your first adventure of this tour. You will visit the waterfalls (Materuni Waterfalls) by walking on a narrow path surrounded by lush vegetation. Later on, you’ll walk back to the village over a partly different path where you will practice different activities with the locals including coffee making, local dance and letter enjoying local banana beer and dishes. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation and overnight.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide at your hotel and embark on a 2-hour drive that will take you to Tarangire National Park.
The Park with its endless tree savannah and seasonal wetlands, is also home to North Tanzania's largest elephant herd, with over 4000 elephants at the last count. You can also see zebras, giraffes, buffalo, lions, hyenas, and various antelopes and gazelles. In the evening, drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro crater game drive and transfer to Serengeti National Park

After early breakfast, descend onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game drives in search of the Big 5 animals: lions, buffalo, elephants, lions, and leopards. If you are lucky, you'll be able to see all five within a few hours of the game drive. After your exciting game drive, you'll continue with a transit game drive as you make your way to your accommodation in Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park, the heart of African wildlife with an endless plain rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
