Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi, you will be picked up and driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive will take you through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, with a brief stop for photography at the Rift Valley observation point. The Rift Valley is one of the most iconic that slice through East Africa, dividing Kenya into two segments. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru in good time for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, drive by the lake amidst the spectacular euphorbia forest.

This national park is renowned for its thousands of flamingoes, other animals found here include rhino, Rothschild's giraffe, lion, and cheetah.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

This morning, we drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famous for its spectacular wildebeest migration. It is home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Enjoy lunch at the camp and relax before departing for an afternoon game drive. Large mammals are varied and easy to see.

The Mara is known for its Big Five—lions, Start your third day with an early morning game drive, a prime time for wildlife sightings as elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos—so keep your eyes peeled for predator prey drama. After a hearty breakfast, you will return to your accommodation for a relaxing midday break. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive, covering different areas of the park to increase your chances of spotting more wildlife. You may also choose to visit a Maasai village, an optional cultural activity to learn about the Maasai people’s traditional way of life. After a full day in the wild, you’ll return to your camp for a restful evening.
