Zanzibar to Ngorongoro Crater via Arusha

Upon your arrival in the Arusha Airport, you will meet with our tour guide driver while carrying your lunch box. We shall start our beautiful journey to Ngorongoro Crater for Game drive. We shall descend down the crater while watching the majestic view of the Crater and wildlife animals as well. Later we shall drive to your camp for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay at Ngorongoro wild camp or similar.

Travelers visiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area can enjoy a number of incredible and unique experiences such as: exploring its volcanic craters (one of which is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world), viewing the dense wildlife populations – including the Big 5 of Africa, observing the Ngorongoro abundant.

Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti

Early Morning:
Breakfast at the camp: Enjoy an early breakfast at the Camp.
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive: Head out for a morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular natural sites in Africa. The crater is home to an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, and the endangered black rhino.

Late Morning:
Departure for Serengeti: After your game drive, depart for the Serengeti National Park (approximately 3-4 hours by road). Enjoy scenic views of the countryside as you travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the Serengeti.

Afternoon:
Game Drive in Central Serengeti: After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti, which is home to large populations of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and leopards. Dinner and overnight at Golden safari camp or similar accommodation.

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti (River Crossing)

Early Morning:
Breakfast at the camp: Enjoy breakfast at Golden Safari Camp.
Departure for Northern Serengeti: After breakfast, depart for the Northern Serengeti (approximately 4-5 hours by road). The drive takes you through vast open plains and brings you to the area of the Serengeti where the Great Migration often occurs (June to October). This is where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the river crossings at the Mara River.

Afternoon:
Enjoy a delicious lunch at picnic site. Later proceed with the Game Drive in Northern Serengeti: After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive. During migration season, this is one of the most exciting times to visit, as you may witness the iconic river crossings of the wildebeest and zebras as they attempt to cross the Grumeti or Mara River.

Evening:
After a fantastic day of game viewing, drive to Sero Tented Camp or similar.
Dinner: Enjoy dinner at the camp, followed by a relaxing evening.

Northern Return to Zanzibar

Early Morning:
Breakfast at the camp: Have an early breakfast at Sero Tented Camp.
Morning Game Drive: Enjoy a final morning game drive in Northern Serengeti. You’ll have the opportunity to explore more wildlife areas or spot any animals you missed earlier in the trip.

Late Morning:
Drive to Kogatende Airstrip: After the morning game drive, drive to Kogatende Airstrip, located in the Northern back to Zanzibar departs (approximately 30-45 minutes drive).
