Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Pick up at your hotel in the morning and start our program which will take us to Tarangire National Park. The Park with its endless tree savannah and seasonal wetlands, is also home to North Tanzania's largest elephant herd, with over 4000 elephants at the last count. You can also see zebras, giraffes, buffalo, lions, hyenas, and a variety of antelopes and gazelles.
When you arrive at the park, your driver will greet you in an open-roof jeep and begin your wildlife watch with a picnic lunch. Later in the day, you'll get a chance to see even more of this breathtakingly beautiful park. You will then be driven to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a delightful breakfast at your lodge, begin your journey from Karatu to Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Serengeti is all year-round destination; it is a home to millions of wildebeest and other resident animals like hyenas, leopard, cheetahs, and many other predators. Since Serengeti is huge, your guide will choose the best location for the best game viewing during the time of the year.

Early in the morning, descend into the crater for game viewing. In Ngorongoro crater, most people are lucky to spot almost all of the big five which are Lion, Leopard, buffalo, elephant, and Rhinoceros. Crater is the habitat for many animals; therefore, apart from the big five, you will be able to spot other animals such as zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, impalas, hyena, cheetah, and the like, with several species of birds. In the afternoon after lunch, you will be transferred back to Arusha.
