Drive to Tarangire for game drive

You will begin your day with breakfast before being picked up from the hotel by a Kojuu Safari guide. From there, you’ll embark on a drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is one of Africa’s hidden treasures, offering an unforgettable experience for those who appreciate wilderness and solitude. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which serves as the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park’s landscape is uniquely diverse, unlike any other on the northern safari circuit. It features iconic ancient baobab trees, regarded by the Maasai as the first tree of creation, alongside giant termite mounds scattered across the terrain. During the dry season, the relentless sun bakes the earth into a dusty red hue, while the wet season transforms the park with lush greenery and tall grasses. In the evening, you’ll head to your accommodation to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

While it has the smallest number of mammals among the parks in the Northern Circuit, it compensates with its remarkable wilderness, featuring scenic landscapes such as the Rift Valley, dense woodlands, and picturesque mountainsides. Lake Manyara serves as an excellent starting point for any adventure. Located in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania, it is just 130 kilometers from Arusha, a drive of approximately two hours.
