Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will go through the mandatory usual customs, immigration and health check procedures. You will then be welcomed by a member from Hallmark Travel Planners team who will transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi.

Nairobi is Kenya's capital city, it is one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, an important commercial and financial regional hub.

Today, you leave for your first safari experience in Kenya, heading to Lake Nakuru National park north-west of Nairobi. Located 140 kilometres northwest of Nairobi, this is one of Kenya’s major national parks and is widely considered one of the best areas to sight the endangered white and black rhinos, which are often seen by the shores of Nakuru having been brought back from near-extinction by a successful breeding campaign.

Tthe park was designated as a bird sanctuary in 1960 and gained national park status in 1968 to protect the colonies of greater and lesser flamingos habitat

The varied habitats of the park from lake to swamp, bush to woodland attract equally varied wildlife. Aside from the ubiquitous flamingos which can number as many as one million at certain times of the year, around the lake a game reserve has been created and you may see Bohor’s reedbucks, zebras, rhinos, lions, hyenas, hippos and white clawless otters in the lake itself.

After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. Check in your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, revel in an adventurous game drive. The reserve is a rugged jumble of ancient volcanic cones and craters, boasting with some of the best views of Kilimanjaro and home to a wonderful selection of game, including paradise to bird watchers’ in the south-west corner of the reserve.

The Masai Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. When westerners think of Africa and safari, this is place they imagine – golden grassland plains pocked with acacia, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and jackals bound by together by the cycle of life and death. Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big 5 and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsets well-worth capturing on camera. The Mara is 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.

Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see an abundance of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.

After breakfast, check out with picnic lunch boxes and leave Maasai Mara. Our destination is Kenya Tanzania border where you will say bye bye to Kenya Guide and meet the Tanzania Guide.

After Visa processing proceed to Serengeti National park, which shares the same ecosystem with the Maasai Mara game reserve. This is Tanzania's largest game park, covering some 14736 km² of African bushveld. The Serengeti is a year-round game viewing destination, offering world-class game viewing throughout the year.

Serengeti Park and the neighbouring Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, are however best known for the annual Wildebeest Migration. Also known as the Great Migration, this wildlife spectacle is set in motion when an endless sea of grazers migrate across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

For 2 days, we explore the vast Serengeti plains on game drives, going in search of the staggering variety of wildlife found here. The Serengeti is one of Africa's most famous game parks, boasting prime open savannahs, teeming with wild animals.
This epic wildlife migration sees a wildebeest population of over a million stampeding through grasslands and river.

The incredible wildlife migration also includes several other hoofed animals, such as zebra, Thomson's gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk's dik-dik, oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and more! This awe-inspiring herd of grazers, in turn, attracts the predators of Serengeti, from lion, leopard, and cheetah, to hyena, jackals and bat-eared foxes.
The bird watching in Serengeti Park is also impressive, with common sightings including ostrich and kori bustard, as well as larks, finches, raptors and the distinctive lilac breasted roller.

Have your breakfast and after proceed for a game drive within Serengeti National Park, within the valley of Seronera valley, you will find many zebras, lions and the wildebeests, the big cats here include; leopards and the cheetahs. Return to the lodge and check out with picnic lunch boxes, heading for Ngorongoro Area.

A short stop over visit at the Ol Duvai Gorge before proceeding to the crater. Olduvai Gorge stands at the far end of the NCA. It is home to an archaeological site that is regarded as the cradle of humankind. It is considered the most important prehistoric site in the world.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. Estimates say that about 3 million years ago, the intact volcano was almost as high as Kilimanjaro, between 4,500 and 5,800 metres. That is until the then active volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself forming the caldera or volcanic crater that is visible today.

After breakfast at the lodge, we leave picnic lunches for a full day safari at Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park will allow you to tick off so many unique safari highlights, including many that you just won’t find elsewhere.

Unlike the elephants you’ll see in other parks, Lake Manyara’s inhabit dense forest – there’s nothing quite like your experience of an elephant suddenly emerging from behind the nearest tree. Also, you’re just as likely to see lions here draped along a branch high in a tree as down on the ground. And baboons. Lots of baboons.

The views you’ll see here, too, persist in your memory long after you’ve returned home, thanks to the combination of lake, forest and sheer cliffs, all within just a few kilometres. Just before sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
