Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Josh Dreamland Safari. After a short briefing about your upcoming adventure, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, a lively city known as the gateway to Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations.

Take this time to relax at your lodge, enjoy the serene atmosphere, or explore the city’s vibrant markets and cultural spots. If you arrive early, optional activities such as a city tour or a visit to a local coffee plantation can be arranged. Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your journey with Josh Dreamland Safari begins. Your guide will pick you up for a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, passing through Maasai villages and vast landscapes. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive in this wildlife-rich park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse animal species. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife, making it a prime spot for sightings.

Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing the game drive. Later in the afternoon, exit the park and head to Suricata Boma Lodge. After an early breakfast at your lodge in Mto wa Mbu, you’ll begin your drive to Serengeti National Park with Josh Dreamland Safari. The scenic route takes you through the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering stunning views along the way. Once you enter the Serengeti, you’ll be captivated by the vast, open plains teeming with wildlife.

After an early breakfast at your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands, you'll begin your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible biodiversity. The crater floor is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos—as well as other species like wildebeests, zebras, and hyenas. The varied landscapes of the crater, including grasslands, lakes, and forests, make it a prime location for game viewing.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater, taking in the scenery while surrounded by wildlife. After a day of exploring, you’ll ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha. The journey offers scenic views of the surrounding highlands, and upon arrival in Arusha, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
