On your arrival at the airport, your bird guide will greet you, holding a placard with your name. You’ll be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to rest or go birding immediately at the Via Via Uganda Guest House or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Day 2

Entebbe – Mabamba Wetland

Entebbe – Mabamba Wetland

Rise early for a visit to Mabamba Wetland. The wetland is famous for the elusive Shoebill Stork, as well as the Lesser Jacana, Blue Swallow, long Crested Eagle and Great Blue Turaco among others. Explore the wetland by boat and enjoy the abundant birdlife.
