Almost as large as the Serengeti, with its untouched nature remains one of the most exciting game reserves. It is a birdwatchers’ paradise with 350 different species of birds. Wildlife is concentrated along the Great Ruaha River that is the heart of the wildlife in the park. Waterbuck, Impala and Grant Gazelle. The Shores of Great Ruaha River is the permanent hunting ground lion, leopard, Jackal, Hyenas and African wild Dog.

Walking Safari, Ruaha National Park

06h00 Option, early morning walking safari with an armed range best wildlife experience, then return to Lodge breakfast, before continue with another full-day of game drive in Ruaha National Park. In the afternoon, stop for a picnic.

The park boasts an almost untouched and unexplored ecosystem, making for a very special safari. It is one of the few famous wilderness areas in Tanzania where one can have a unique experience of wildlife spotting and exploring the fascinating landscape. The park is home to the greater kudu, which can not be found in any other park.
