Day 1: Tarangire National Park Adventure
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Moshi or Arusha by our expert guide. Travel 120km to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Explore seasonal swamps, savannahs, and the Tarangire River, spotting zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, giraffes, and possibly lions and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature before continuing your game drive until sunset. In the evening, transfer to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will continue toward the endless plains, where you will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onward to Serengeti National Park (which you will reach by afternoon). Our professional guide will pick a good time to have lunch and some wine amidst the scenery Serengeti National Park is known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five, which are so named because they are the five most prized animal trophies sought after by hunters. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa (roughly 3,000) due to the abundance of prey that lives here the African leopard, a reclusive predator, is commonly seen in the Seronera region but is present throughout the park. Its population is estimated to be about 1,000. After the game drive, you will head to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, embark on another thrilling game drive with a picnic lunch, exploring areas missed on the first day. Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, spans 15,000 sq km and hosts millions of herbivores, big cats, and diverse wildlife. Witness migrating wildebeest and zebras, along with resident lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. Return to camp for an overnight stay.

Day 4

After a hot breakfast in the morning, you’ll go on a tour of a local Maasai boma. The Maasai people are a pastoral group that has kept much of their traditional lifestyle. During the visit, you may learn about Maasai culture. You can also partake in local activities like singing and dancing, herding cattle, milling cattle and goats, and creating fires with animal dung and acacia trees. Your lunch will be at a place chosen by your guide. You’ll also have time to take photos and purchase authentic Maasai handcrafts.

Day 5

Materuni Waterfalls & Cultural Experience
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your Arusha hotel and head to Materuni Waterfalls, a 40-minute scenic walk with insights into local culture and nature. Enjoy breathtaking views, and if lucky, spot Mount Kilimanjaro. Take a refreshing swim at the waterfall’s base before returning to Materuni village for a traditional Chagga lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your safari.
