Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and its stunning landscape of baobab trees. The drive to Tarangire takes about 2-3 hours, and upon arrival, you’ll begin an exciting game drive. As you explore the park, you’ll encounter not only elephants but also lions, giraffes, zebras, and a wide range of bird species. Tarangire is also famous for its diverse ecosystems, from savannahs to wetlands, which provide a perfect habitat for many species. After a day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your lodge for a restful evening and dinner.

On your final day, you’ll depart early for a transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world’s most unique ecosystems. This volcanic caldera is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. As you descend into the crater floor, you'll encounter a variety of animals in their natural habitats, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. Spend the day exploring the crater’s diverse environments, including the lush forests, grasslands, and salt flats. After a picnic lunch, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the evening to catch your flight or continue your onward travel.
