Day 1

Watamu Tour

Upon your arrival at your destination, you will begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, you will be picked up and given a brief orientation about the rich coastal history of the region. Around 1 PM, you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch before heading out to explore the fascinating Gede Ruins at approximately 2 PM. Afterward, immerse yourself in the local Giriama culture with a visit to learn about their traditions and heritage. As the day winds down, enjoy a relaxing sundowner at Prawn Lake Sita, taking in the tranquil surroundings. In the evening, return to your hotel for a delightful dinner, followed by an opportunity to experience the vibrant nightlife of Watamu.

Day 2

Malindi Tour

After breakfast, you'll embark on a scenic tour of Malindi, starting with a visit to the historic Vasco da Gama Pillar and the Long Pier, offering picturesque views of the coastline. Next, explore the Malindi Museum to learn about the area's rich cultural and historical significance. Then, head to Marafa Hell’s Kitchen, known for its stunning, otherworldly landscape of sandstone formations. Continue the adventure with an exciting visit to the Maambrui Sand Dunes, where you’ll have the chance to ride the dunes for an unforgettable experience. Afterward, stop by Camp Gedeng, a unique hippo camp, where you can relax and observe wildlife in a peaceful setting. Following a delicious lunch, participate in a meaningful activity by planting mangrove trees to help preserve the coastal ecosystem. In the late afternoon, return to Watamu, where you’ll have dinner at your hotel. Afterward, unwind and enjoy Watamu’s nightlife if you wish, before a restful night.

Day 3

Watamu Marine Experience

The day begins with breakfast at around 8:00 AM, followed by a departure to the marine park by 9:30 AM. Here, you’ll enjoy a range of exciting activities including snorkeling and dolphin watching. Depending on your preference, you can opt for either a half-day or full-day excursion to fully experience the marine life and crystal-clear waters of Watamu. At around 1:00 PM, you’ll take a break for lunch before heading out in the afternoon for a shopping tour around Watamu village. This is a great opportunity to pick up local souvenirs and experience the charm of the area. Afterwards, you can relax by the beach and soak in the peaceful coastal atmosphere. In the evening, there’s an option to enjoy a farewell dinner, marking a memorable end to your day in Watamu.

Day 4

Watamu to Mombasa

Watamu to Mombasa

After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, there will be an optional tour to explore Watamu a bit more before departing for Mombasa. This tour, available at an additional cost, includes a scenic drive with a guide through the towns of Kilifi, Vipingo, Kikambala, and Mtwapa in Kilifi County, with interesting historical insights shared along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa around 1:00 PM, you will enjoy lunch before continuing the tour. At approximately 2:00 PM, you will visit the historic Fort Jesus, followed by an optional stop at Kizingo Waterfront, where those interested can experience a ferry crossing. The day concludes with a return journey to the airport or the train station for your trip back to Nairobi.
