Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and assisted through immigration before being transferred to your hotel. A tour briefing will be held in the hotel lobby, providing an overview of the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will check out and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial at 09:00 AM. This deeply moving site provides an important historical context about Rwanda’s past and its journey of resilience.
By 10:30 AM, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda, driving through Rwanda’s scenic countryside. A lunch stop will be made at Migano Restaurant or a similar eatery in Musanze before heading to Cyanika Border for customs and immigration procedures.
After crossing into Uganda, you will continue through the stunning Kigezi Highlands, known for their breathtaking terraced landscapes, before arriving at your lodge near Bwindi. Check in, freshen up, and enjoy a hearty dinner while soaking in the tranquil surroundings of the rainforest. Overnight stay.

Day 3

The day begins early with breakfast before transferring to the Bwindi National Park Headquarters for a detailed trekking briefing at 07:00 AM. Park rangers will explain safety protocols, gorilla family assignments, and what to expect during the trek.
At 08:00 AM, embark on a life-changing trek through the dense jungle in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can range from one to several hours, depending on the gorillas' location. Once found, you will spend a magical hour observing their behaviors, from playful juveniles to the dominant silverback protecting his troop.
After this incredible wildlife encounter, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon is at your leisure, allowing you to rest, explore the lodge surroundings, or visit a local community for a cultural experience (optional).

Day 4

After breakfast, check out and begin the journey back to Kigali, crossing the border at Cyanika.
En route, you will stop for lunch at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel before continuing to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
At the Ellen Campus, you will gain insight into Dian Fossey’s pioneering work in gorilla conservation and current research efforts to protect these endangered primates. This interactive center offers a deeper appreciation of conservation efforts in Rwanda and beyond.
By late afternoon, you will arrive in Kigali and check in at your hotel for your final night. A farewell dinner will be served, giving you time to reflect on your remarkable adventure. Overnight stay.

After a relaxed breakfast, check out of your hotel and settle any extras. You will be transfered to Kigali International Airport. Here, you will bid farewell to your driver-guide and proceed with check in for your outbound air transfer to the nextr destination. End of tour. Wishing you an excellent experience.
