Start your day with an early breakfast before your driver picks you up from your hotel at 07:30 AM. Once your bags are packed into the safari jeep, you’ll set off on a 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park along a scenic tarmac road.

Upon arrival, your guide will take care of the park formalities while you take a short break to visit the restroom or explore the curio shop. The rest of the day will be spent on an exciting game drive through Tarangire National Park, known for its vast landscapes of thorny bush and savannah. Home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, Tarangire is one of Africa’s top destinations for spotting large elephant herds. Other animals you may encounter include lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, ostriches, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, baboons, warthogs, and more.

Start your day with an early breakfast, then set off on an unforgettable journey to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you’ll travel via the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, making a brief stop at a stunning viewpoint to take in the breathtaking scenery.

After approximately two hours, you’ll arrive at Serengeti National Park, where the rest of the day will be dedicated to an exciting game drive through this iconic wildlife haven. Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of animals, and you may spot lions, hyenas, jackals, leopards, cheetahs, servals, giraffes, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, dik-diks, impalas, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, topis, hartebeests, klipspringers, rock hyraxes, and many more species.

As the sun sets, you’ll arrive at your campsite in the heart of Serengeti, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a night under the star-lit African sky.

Day 3

Rise before sunrise for an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators on the move. During these first golden hours of the day, you have a higher chance of witnessing lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action. You may also encounter nocturnal species such as the striped hyena, bush baby, and caracal before they retreat for the day.

After your game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before heading out for another thrilling game drive in Serengeti National Park. By afternoon, you’ll begin your journey toward Ngorongoro Crater, taking in breathtaking landscapes along the way.

Arriving at your campsite in the mountains beyond the crater rim at dusk, you’ll settle in for the night with a delicious dinner under the African sky.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano. Spanning 21 kilometers in diameter, Ngorongoro is the world’s largest unbroken caldera, providing a fertile habitat with year-round water and a cooler climate, making it a haven for diverse wildlife.

This unique ecosystem offers one of the best chances to spot the critically endangered black rhino. You may also encounter lions, hyenas, elephants, hippos, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and a variety of birds and monkeys thriving within the crater.

By mid-afternoon, you’ll depart from Ngorongoro and begin your journey back to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
