Arusha to Central Serengeti National Park

Your safari begins at 8:00 AM with a pickup from your Arusha hotel. Travel 240 km (6 hours) to Serengeti National Park, known as "endless plains" for its breathtaking grasslands merging with the horizon. Home to the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) and graceful impalas, the Serengeti boasts Africa’s largest concentration of plains game. Explore the Seronera area, rich in wildlife due to the Seronera River, and spot lion prides and iconic granite kopjes. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive, then end the day with dinner and rest at your accommodation.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest collapsed volcanic crater, spans 14 kilometers and is a haven of untouched natural beauty. Encircled by extinct volcanoes, its floor is dotted with watering holes and home to around 30,000 animals. The day ends with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour then drive back to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, you’ll start early with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater floor around 6:30 AM. As the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, the crater spans 260 sq km and reaches depths of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor promises thrilling wildlife encounters, so keep your camera ready! You’ll spot African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions in abundance. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool, you’ll begin the steep ascent to the crater’s top exit. The last leg of your journey includes a 4-hour drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your preferred location by 6:00 PM. With unforgettable memories and incredible experiences, it’s time to bid farewell to your team.
