Day 1

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 AM. After meeting your guide, chef, and fellow travelers, we’ll drive to Tarangire National Park (2 hours), famous for its diverse landscapes, ancient Baobab trees, and the largest elephant population in Tanzania. Here, you’ll witness unique elephant family interactions. A game drive will follow, focusing on reported predator sightings (lions, cheetahs, leopards), while herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras are abundant throughout the park.

Later, enjoy lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, surrounded by stunning views and wildlife. Watch out for playful monkeys and baboons! After lunch, continue the game drive, exiting the park around 4:30 PM. We’ll then head to your campsite or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll drive from Mto Wa Mbu to the Serengeti, a 6-hour journey (including stops) through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Stop: Ngorongoro Crater
We’ll pause briefly at the gate and a viewpoint to admire the breathtaking vista of the crater.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop: Maasai Village (Optional)
You’ll have the chance to visit a Maasai village to explore the culture of this iconic tribe, historically known for their bravery and unique traditions like lion hunting and drinking raw animal blood. While many traditions have faded, you can still learn about their fascinating heritage. Duration: 20-45 minutes

On this day, we’ll explore remote areas of the Serengeti—north, south, east, or west—depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, followed by lunch. Continue the adventure with an afternoon game drive, returning to the campsite or lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari
For an unforgettable experience, you can opt for a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti at an additional cost. Soar above the plains at sunrise and enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape and wildlife below.

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, spotting plenty of wildlife until the afternoon. Return to camp for lunch and packing, The drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater takes approximately 4-5 hours, depending on wildlife sightings and road conditions. This journey offers stunning views as you transition from the vast Serengeti plains to the lush highlands surrounding the crater, Along the way, you may spot wildlife near the roadside, and you’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with its rolling hills and scenic landscapes. The drive concludes at the camp/lodge located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, we’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at 6:15 AM for a thrilling game drive. The highlight of the day will be searching for the elusive black rhino, the hardest to spot in the crater, though most other animals are easier to find due to the crater’s compact floor. After lunch, we’ll continue the game drive before ascending the crater and returning to camp to pack.

We’ll then head to Fig Tree Lodge & Campsite (or similar accommodation) near Lake Manyara National Park. If you’re interested, don’t forget to pack your swimwear for a refreshing dip!

After breakfast, we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its vast flocks of flamingos and the rare tree-climbing lions (though sightings are uncommon). During the game drive, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including buffaloes, wildebeest, warthogs, monkeys, and numerous bird species like vultures and eagles. We’ll also visit the hippo pool for a close-up view of hippos and explore the park’s hot springs. The day promises a mix of thrilling animal encounters and scenic beauty.

This marks the final day of your adventure. After the game drive, your driver will drop you off at the airport, concluding an unforgettable safari experience. Safe travels!
