Upon arrival at the airport, we'll pick you up and transfer you to your hotel, with an optional tour of Arusha city. This brief city tour will give you an introduction to Tanzania and help you get ready for your adventure the following day. In the evening, we'll provide a briefing on the upcoming tour activities. Depending on your arrival time, you may also choose to take a short hike to Kilima Moto to enjoy a stunning sunset.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We’ll pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 AM and introduce you to your guide before embarking on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees and boasts the largest elephant population in Tanzania! You'll get up close to these magnificent creatures and observe the dynamics of elephant families. Throughout the game drive, we'll follow reported animal sightings, with plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras to see. Spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be more challenging. We’ll stop at the river picnic site for a leisurely lunch, where you can enjoy the stunning river views and observe wildlife. Be on the lookout for cheeky monkeys and baboons—they might try to steal your lunch, but they’re harmless! After lunch, we’ll continue our game drive before exiting the park around 5:30 PM and heading to our accommodation at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a 6-hour drive to Serengeti, including all stops, passing through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We’ll make a brief stop at the gate to take in the breathtaking views of the crater for about 20 minutes. You’ll also have the option to visit a Maasai village and learn about the daily life of the Maasai people (additional cost of $10 to $20).

We’ll arrive in the late afternoon and begin a game drive in Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti. As we continue the game drive into the evening, you’ll have the chance to experience a Serengeti sunset while observing wildlife up close. If we’re lucky, we may even witness a predator in action! Finally, we’ll head to Tukaone Weavers Camp for the night.

Day 4

Today, we’ll venture into the expansive northern Serengeti, tracking the movements of wildlife. After an early breakfast, we’ll head out for a morning game drive, bringing along a picnic lunch. Our focus will be on the Mara River, where we hope to witness the dramatic river crossing of migrating herds. We’ll continue our game drive throughout the day, and in the evening, we’ll return to Heritage Mara Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Keep an eye out for wildlife around the camp, as animals are often spotted nearby.

Today, we head west back to the Mara River, where we'll witness large groups of wildebeest gathering and preparing to cross. If we're lucky, we may even catch the beginning of the migration!

After an early breakfast, we’ll set off on a game drive, with a picnic lunch along the way. We’ll continue exploring the area throughout the day, returning to Heritage Mara Camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Seronera, Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we’ll head out for a game drive south of Serengeti toward Seronera. In the late afternoon, we’ll leave the Serengeti and make our way to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, located on the crater rim with stunning views of the crater. The drive to the lodge takes about 2 hours.

**Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha Region**

After an early breakfast, we will begin our descent into the crater at 6:15 am, embarking on a search for the elusive black rhino. Rhinos are the most challenging animals to spot in this stunning crater, but most other wildlife will be more visible on the crater floor.

Following lunch, we will enjoy a game drive before ascending the crater and heading back to the lodge. Upon our return, we’ll pack up and depart for Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa, located near Arusha.

After breakfast, we will go to the Materuni Waterfalls, where you will do a short hike for about 2 hours. The vegetation, surreal views, and waterfalls are an incredible sight. From here, we proceed to a local coffee processing farm, where we will have lunch before departing for the airport.
