Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Descend into the crater, where you have the chance to see the Big Five in just a few hours, including rare black rhinos, lions, and hippos in the freshwater pools. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the crater floor while watching zebras and wildebeests roam nearby. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Karatu for a relaxed evening at your lodge with a hearty dinner and time to unwind.

Tarangire National Park – Arusha/Zanzibar

Your final safari day takes you to Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive before heading back to Arusha for an overnight stay or transferring to Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight to Zanzibar or home, ending a fantastic family-friendly safari adventure.
