Kigali – Transfer to Akagera NP & Afternoon Game Drive

Your Wagatil Safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali after breakfast. Drive eastwards to Akagera National Park, arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After checking in, head out for an afternoon game drive in the southern part of the park, home to giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more. Return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and a night under the stars.

Full Game Drive & Return to Kigali

Early morning game drive in the northern section of Akagera, where chances of spotting lions, elephants, and rhinos are higher. Optionally, you can do a boat safari on Lake Ihema before or after the drive to view hippos, crocodiles, and rich birdlife. After the safari, have lunch and drive back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon.
