Day 2

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to Volcanoes National Park for a briefing on golden monkey tracking. The trek leads through bamboo forests, where expert guides help locate a habituated troop of these playful and energetic primates. Enjoy an hour watching them leap through the trees and forage for food.

After the experience, return to the lodge to freshen up and check out. Begin the scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through rolling hills, lush countryside, and local villages. Cross into Uganda and continue the journey towards Bwindi, known for its mountain gorillas.

Arrive at Bweza Gorilla Lodge, check in, and unwind in the serene rainforest setting, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the dense rainforest with experienced guides. The trek leads through rugged terrain, following signs of a gorilla family. Along the way, encounter diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys and exotic birds.

Upon finding the gorillas, spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching their interactions, feeding, and social behavior. Capture memorable photos while maintaining a safe distance. After the trek, we transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight at Bunyonyi Eco Resort.

Start the day with a relaxing canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi, exploring its scenic islands and spotting various bird species. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding hills, there is also an option of a Boat trip around the Historic islands of Lake Bunyonyi

After the canoeing experience, check out from the lodge and begin the drive to Kigali. Pass through picturesque landscapes and border towns before arriving in Rwanda’s capital. Depending on your schedule, explore Kigali’s cultural sites or proceed to the airport for departure.
