Arusha to Tarangire NP

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, where you will meet your experienced guide and set off on a scenic drive towards Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, making it one of the most picturesque parks in Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will embark on a thrilling game drive, where you can expect to see lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and possibly even leopards resting in the trees.
At midday, you will take a break at a designated picnic site inside the park to enjoy a delicious packed lunch, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The afternoon will be spent exploring different areas of the park, following herds of animals as they move across the vast savannah. As the sun begins to set, you will leave Tarangire and drive to Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." Upon arrival, you will descend 600 meters into the crater, where an extraordinary wildlife experience awaits. This natural wildlife sanctuary is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino—all within a few hours.
Midway through the day, you will stop at a picturesque picnic site, where you will enjoy a packed lunch with spectacular views of the crater. After lunch, you will continue your game drive, exploring the diverse ecosystems of the crater, from open grasslands to acacia forests. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or airport, marking the end of an unforgettable 2-day safari adventure.
