Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced driver guides. After a brief introduction, he will escort you to your reserved hotel in Arusha town and introduce you to this wonderful city and country.

Arusha is a gateway to safari destinations in the northeast and is located in the Northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. The city of approximately 400,000 people is mainly dominated by the Maasai and Meru people.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive in the park.

Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania and is located slightly off the main safari route. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for only a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.

Your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot meal of soup, bread rolls, the main dish and fruit salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, continue with the game drive until the evening when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti the Endless Plain

Serengeti the Endless Plain

Serengeti National Park in Central Seronera is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "Big Five", named for the 5 most prized trophies taken by hunters. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. The reclusive leopards are commonly seen in the Seronera area.

Enjoy the game drive until lunchtime when your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot meal of soup, bread rolls, the main dish and fruit salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. After lunch, your search continues for the big cats and the "Big Five". In the evening, you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

Central Serengeti

After breakfast, go on a game drive in Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, your driver will set and prepare the table for a hot lunch which includes soup, bread rolls, a main dish and fruit salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee. Continue with the game drive until late afternoon before you drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

During the great migration, a million wildebeest, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfill its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life in the frenzied 3-week bout of territorial conquests and mating.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart from your lodge with picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's "Big Five" within the crater, among a vast array of other wildlife including hundreds of bird species.

Enjoy a full day in the crater on a game drive. In the evening, you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on earth and is home to Africa's "Big Five". Here, you can witness Maasai people living among wild animals and experience exceptional natural landscapes.

Day 6

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

Early in the morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa can reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.

Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. At lunchtime, your driver will set up and prepare a table using the shade of our car, for a full hot meal that includes soup, bread rolls, a main dish and fruit salad, followed by a glass of wine, tea or coffee.

After lunch, continue with the game drive. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for overnight.
