Start your adventure with an early morning drive to Tarangire National Park, a paradise for elephants, lions, leopards, and birdlife. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive. Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the Serengeti just in time for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll spot lions, leopards, and herds of grazers spread across the plains. As the sun sets, check into your tented camp or lodge inside the Serengeti, listening to the sounds of the wild under the African night sky.

Serengeti Safari – Sunrise & Sunset Game Drives

Wake up before dawn for a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action. Return to camp for breakfast before heading out again for a full day of wildlife viewing. You can either opt for a picnic lunch inside the park or return to camp for a break before an afternoon game drive. If you’re interested, this is also the best day to add a Serengeti hot air balloon safari, soaring above the savannah at sunrise for a breathtaking aerial view of the wildlife.

After lunch, start the journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at your lodge on the crater rim before sunset. Enjoy dinner while overlooking one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Africa, preparing for an early start into the crater the next day.

Ngorongoro Crater (Early Morning Game Drive) – Arusha/Zanzibar

Wake up on the edge of the crater and descend before sunrise, being one of the first visitors inside this wildlife-rich ecosystem. Experience the Big Five in one of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife areas, where lions, black rhinos, and hyenas roam freely. After a half-day game drive, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending from the crater and driving back to Arusha. Depending on your schedule, either stay overnight in Arusha or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight to Zanzibar or home.
