In the afternoon, explore more of the vast Serengeti plains before returning to your lodge or camp for another night inside the park. For those interested, this is also the best day to do a hot air balloon safari.

Wake up early for a sunrise descent into Ngorongoro Crater, ensuring you are among the first vehicles inside this wildlife-rich haven. Spend the morning spotting the Big Five, including black rhinos, lions, hippos, and elephants, as well as large flocks of flamingos on Lake Magadi. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, continue to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datooga communities. Learn about their hunting and gathering lifestyle, traditional crafts, and way of life. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes with an overnight stay or an airport transfer if flying to Zanzibar or home.
