Day 1

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll head to Serengeti National Park. Depending on the time of year, you could witness the spectacular migration of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson gazelles. In October and November, during the short rainy season, they typically travel from Kenya’s Masai Mara through the northwest Serengeti to the southern plains. After the major rainy season in April, May, and June, they make their way back through the west and northwest parts of Serengeti. Keep in mind, the timing of the migration can shift depending on the rainfall.

Your guide will do their best to track down these incredible animals and get you to the perfect viewing spots. And, where there are herds, there are often predators, so if you’re lucky, you might even catch a hunt in action. After an exciting day, you’ll spend at seronera public campsite.

During the safari, clients can assist with setting up and taking down tents gathering firewood helping to prepare and cook meals and keeping the campsite.
