Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Early morning pickup from your hotel, residence, or the airport, followed by a drive along Mombasa road. We will stop for a bathroom break before continuing to the camp in time for lunch and check-in.

In the evening, enjoy a game drive starting at 3:00pm, followed by dinner at the lodge, which will feature a performance by local Maasai warrior dancers.

Overnight stay will be at Aa Lodge Amboseli or a similar accommodation.

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in the park with a picnic lunch. Amboseli is renowned for its red elephant herds, which include impressive tusked bulls, making it a favorite destination for photographers and filmmakers. The park is characterized by its stunning backdrop of acacia woodlands.

During your exploration, you will encounter large herds of elephants traversing the grasslands, with the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising majestically in the background. In addition to the Big Five, you may spot other wildlife such as Masai giraffes, various antelopes, gazelles, spotted and striped hyenas, cheetahs and lesser kudus.

From Observation Hill, you will have a panoramic view of the entire park, especially the vast swamps that host numerous elephants, buffalo and hippos. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded in Amboseli!

Upon request and an additional charge, we can arrange a sundowner for you to enjoy while watching the breathtaking African sunset.

Day 3

Start your day early with an exciting game drive, enjoying stunning views of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. After the drive, return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Then, depart for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, and if time permits, visit Mzima Springs before returning to the lodge in the evening.

Enjoy a restful night with dinner and overnight accommodations at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

Today, you will explore the stunning beauty of Tsavo East National Park, a vast and untamed wilderness that offers a game drive experience like no other. As your vehicle navigates the expansive, arid savannah, you will encounter the park's iconic reddish-brown elephants, which have taken on the color of the distinctive red soil after their dust baths.

The Galana River meanders through this parched landscape, providing an oasis for diverse wildlife. Crocodiles bask in the sun on the riverbanks, while hippos cool off in the water. The park's open terrains create exceptional opportunities to spot lions stealthily stalking their prey or cheetahs gracefully pursuing gazelles. The doum palms lining the riverbanks and the Yatta Plateau rising on the horizon beautifully frame this wildlife spectacle, making a game drive in Tsavo East an awe-inspiring and captivating experience in nature.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the park one last time. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable six-day safari.
