Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. A briefing will be provided by the safari team regarding the upcoming safari with your professional wildlife guides. Prepare to explore iconic destinations in Tanzania. If time allows, enjoy a town tour to discover Arusha, including a visit to the Maasai market and the Cultural Heritage Center, offering insights into the local culture and traditions.

Day 2

Materuni Waterfalls

Materuni Waterfalls

After breakfast, begin the safari with a drive to Materuni Waterfall, located near the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching the village, start a walking safari to the waterfall, encountering chameleons, various trees, birds, insects, and fruits along the way. The waterfall, fed by Kilimanjaro's forest, offers fresh water, and swimming is allowed—remember to bring swimwear. Afterward, return to the village for a coffee tour and enjoy a hot lunch featuring local Chagga cuisine. Next, head to Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim in natural spring water, warm on one side and cooler on the other, surrounded by fig trees and small fish. Finally, drive back to Arusha for the evening.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour begins with a stop in Arusha town for any last-minute shopping before heading to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. Known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire hosts an annual migratory cycle of up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, 30,000 zebras, and a variety of predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with giraffes, ostriches, warthogs, and acacia savannah. The safari guide will take you away from the crowds and closer to Tarangire River to observe animals drinking, offering opportunities to witness hunting predators. In the evening, the guide will drive you to your lodge accommodation.

Day 4

Ngorongoro crater

Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, the safari guide will drive directly to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife, supported by a year-round supply of water and fodder. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, hippos, and large African elephants. The park also has a dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and elusive leopards. Visit Lake Magadi, a large alkaline lake in the southwest corner, often home to flamingos, hippos, and other waterfowl. The guide will then stop at Engutoku Tok for a bathroom break near the hippo pool. In the late afternoon, drive back to the lodge.

Lake Manyara National park

After breakfast, the driver will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its stunning views and diverse habitats, including acacia forests, water forests, cliffs with baobab trees, hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. This variety supports a wide range of animal species and exceptional birdlife. Manyara is home to the world's largest concentration of baboons, and its lions are famous for their tree-climbing behavior. The safari guide will share more about the park. Later, drive back to Arusha for accommodation.
