Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our Safari driver/guide.
Depending on your arrival time, your driver/guide will take you on a city tour of Kigali, including the Genocide Memorial Centre.
Later, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda via cyanika border arriving in time at the lodge to relax and prepare for your ultimate gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Today is the big day! Prepare yourself for an encounter with the gentle giants; the endangered mountain gorillas. After your morning breakfast, you will go to the headquarters of the Park where the park rangers will brief you about the gorilla trekking experience.
You will go into the forest in groups of not more than 8 in search of mountain gorillas. En route, your guide will point out previous signs of gorilla activity such as dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots.
Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes, and bamboo. Upon finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them after which you will be led back to the starting point.
After the gorilla trekking, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National park to immerse yourself in the beauty of this Park. When you arrive early at the park, you may choose to go for an evening game drive or relax.

Day 3

Enjoy your breakfast and proceed for the morning park (bush) walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger-guide. On this early morning guided walk, you will have the opportunity to encounter (at close range): Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi and other antelope, Cape buffaloes among others. Take the Trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond. From this vantage point, you will have a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo NP. #Optional (extra cost): Instead of walking safari, you may consider; cycling in the park, horseback safari in the park. Thereafter, return to the accommodation for some rest before for checking out for the return to Entebbe. Expect a stop at the Equator crossing mark (in Kayabwe) and take some memorable photos while in the Pearl of Africa.
