Day 1

We expect you to arrive at Entebbe airport in the morning, youwill then meet and be welcomed by our waiting safari guide who will give you an insight of what you should expect on this tour as you drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in a comfortable safari vehicle.

This journey covers aproximately 7 hours with an en-route stopover in Mbarara town to have lunch. Depending on the time you arrive at the Park, you will go on an evening game drive along Kasenyi Plains. On a game drive, expect to see the African bush elephants, buffaloes, leopards, lions, antelopes, birds and many others. Retreat from game viewing experience to relax, dine and spend a night at the lodge.

Queen's Game Drive and a Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel

Wake up to enjoy breakfast and later, set off for an exciting morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will return to the lodge to rest and have lunch, then go for a boat or launch trip along Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. This is an exciting watersport experience and it lasts for 3-4 hours, offering you a great chance to see hippos, basking crocodiles, water birds and many more. Spend the evening relaxing on the shoreline of the kazinga channel sighting and listening to the hippos and little bird sounds.

Day 3

Today we leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. There is 70% chance of spotting these lions up in the trees and more wildlife in this part of the park. We will connect to Bwindi, arriving in time to visit the Batwa pygmy’s community. Relax at the lodge as you prepare for the strenous but exciting gorilla trekking hike the next day.

Day 4

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi to Relax

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi to Relax

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, get ready with your packed lunch plus bottled drinking water, then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. The park official will also allocate to you a gorilla group that you will trek in a group of 8 trekkers. About 20 habituated families exist in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and each rewards tracker with unique experiences. The length of the trek takes about 2-6 hours including an hour of a face to face encounter. You will drive to lake Bunyonyi home to the 29 islands to spend the rest of the evening relaxing in your lodge as you watch the sun set on the beautiful islands on Lake Bunyonyi and the sounds of little birds.

Upon arrival, Optional (You may choose to go on a canoe ride to explore the historical islands on the lake and visit a local community for traditional dances) at additional cost.

Have breakfast early in the morning and later, check out of the lodge ready to make a return journey to lake Mburo for a nature walk or horse riding which is Optional (at extra cost) that brings you close to nature with the giraffes, zebras and herds of impalas among others, later continue the journey to Entebbe with a quick stop at the Equator for lunch and shopping. As your safari in Uganda ends, it's time to look back on your trip with us and enjoy the incredible memories we're sure you have.
