Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Experience

After an early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on the guidelines for the activity. Afterward, embark on the gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, or even the entire day, before encountering the gorillas. Once you find them, you will have the incredible opportunity to observe these magnificent primates for up to an hour. Since the duration of the trek is unpredictable, carrying a packed lunch is highly recommended.

If time and energy permit, you may opt for a cultural visit to the Batwa community after the trek. Later, return to your accommodation to unwind, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
