Day 1

After breakfast at your hotel in arusha (07h30 to 08h00), your personal driver-guide will pick you up for a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Located in northern Tanzania, Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
The park spans 2,603 square kilometers and is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, leopards, impalas, gazelles, and more. Tarangire also boasts over 500 bird species, such as bee-eaters, ostriches, and vultures. The park's Tarangire River, vital to both herbivores and carnivores, is a prime hunting ground for lions, especially in the Dry season.
Lunch will be served at a picnic site between 12h00 and 13h00. Afterward, enjoy a game drive before heading to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu (7:30-8:00 AM), depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, about an hour’s drive. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and geo-park, the 600m-deep Ngorongoro Crater is home to approximately 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including migratory flamingos. Before descending, stop at a viewpoint to admire the crater’s vastness. The crater offers East Africa's best chance to spot endangered black rhinos, completing the Big Five, along with zebras, wildebeests, lions, hyenas, and more. With a 20km diameter, it’s ideal for a 5-6 hour game drive. Highlights include the Ngoitoktok picnic site, a hippo pool where visitors enjoy lunch. After lunch, finish your game drive, ascend the crater, and proceed to Serengeti for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3
Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, embark on an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania's most famous wildlife sanctuary. "Serengeti," derived from the Maasai word Seringiti meaning "endless plains," spans 14,763 sq. km and hosts over 2 million mammals. Its iconic annual migration of over a million wildebeests, 250,000 zebras, and antelopes is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The park is home to 500+ bird species, including ostriches, starlings, and eagles, as well as diverse wildlife like lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and buffalo.
The park's landscape varies from short grass plains in the southeast to hills in the north (Kogatende), rivers and forests in the western corridor (Grumeti), and rock formations (kopjes) in the central and northern regions. Serengeti can be visited year-round, with the dry season (June-October) being ideal. After lunch and extensive game drive, we head for our accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Departure from Seronera airstrip to Zanzibar

After breakfast at your tented camp in Serengeti National Park, you will drive straight to Seronera airstrip to catch your flight to Zanzibar Airport for your connecting flight to your next destination or at your hotel in Zanzibar upon own arrangement.
