Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins early with a 6:00 AM pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel, followed by a transfer to the airport for an 8:00 AM flight to Arusha. After arriving at 9:15 AM, your driver-guide will meet you and take you on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you'll gain fascinating insights into Maasai culture and Arusha's rich history.

Tarangire is famous for its impressive biodiversity, including massive herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and an array of wildlife like lions, leopards, and giraffes. As you explore the park, you'll spot lions on the hunt and leopards resting in trees, all surrounded by the stunning landscape and the Tarangire River.

After a thrilling game drive, enjoy a packed lunch in the park. In the afternoon, you’ll continue to explore the park before returning to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay. The day concludes with a drive back to the lodge around 4:00 PM.

Lake Manyara National Park & Return to Zanzibar

At 7:00 a.m., after a fulfilling breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll embark on an exhilarating morning game drive. Famous for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife, Lake Manyara offers the unique opportunity to witness tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and a variety of bird species, including vibrant flamingos that grace the lake’s shores.

As you explore, you’ll be captivated by the park's lush groundwater forests, expansive savannahs, and the picturesque views of the lake, making it a truly special destination. By early afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., you’ll exit the park and head to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar, departing at 4:30 p.m.

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, our friendly driver will greet you and assist with your luggage, providing a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
