Dar-es-Salaam - Selous Game Reserve ( Nyerere National Park )

Depart from Dar es Salaam by road towards Selous Game Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through scenic countryside and local villages.

Arrive at the Selous Kinga Lodge near the Kinga area, where you will be welcomed with fresh juice and a short briefing about the day's activities. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge while overlooking the serene wilderness. Head out for an afternoon game drive in the Kinga area of Selous Game Reserve.

Explore the diverse landscapes, from open savannah to dense woodlands.

Spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and rare African wild dogs. Witness the rich birdlife, including fish eagles, kingfishers, and hornbills. Sunset drive back to the lodge, with chances to see nocturnal animals emerging.

In the evening, arrive back at Selous Kinga Lodge for relaxation.

Rest in a comfortable en-suite tented room or cottage, preparing for the next day's adventure.

Mikumi National Park

In the morning, depart for Mikumi National Park, passing through Northern Selous. During your safari, you’ll encounter a rich variety of bird species and large populations of giraffes, buffalo, and elephants. If you’re fortunate, you may also spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Commonly seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands, and antelopes. Observation towers throughout the park offer stunning views of the entire landscape. Later, you'll drive to the lodge for your overnight stay.

Udzungwa Mountains National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast at Camp Bastian, preparing for an adventurous day in Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Depart from the camp for a short 20-minute drive to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park entrance. Meet your park ranger and begin an exhilarating hiking trek through the lush rainforest.

Follow trails surrounded by towering trees, vibrant birdlife, and rare primates like the Udzungwa red colobus monkey and Sanje mangabey. Learn about the unique flora and fauna from your knowledgeable guide. Reach the stunning Sanje Waterfalls, a 170-meter cascading waterfall offering breathtaking views of the Kilombero Valley.

Enjoy a packed picnic lunch near the waterfalls while taking in the serene environment. Begin your descent back down, taking another route to spot more wildlife and unique plant species. Arrive back at the park entrance and drive back to Camp Bastian for well-deserved relaxation, leisure & Overnight Stay.
