Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Murchison Falls NP

Accommodation: Pakuba Safari Lodge (Mid-range lodge with Nile River views)
Activities:

Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Sanctuary (8 AM–12 PM):

4x4 Transfer (3.5 hours): Depart early for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Guided Trek: Track Uganda’s only wild rhinos on foot with rangers. Learn about conservation efforts.

Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Amuka Lodge (Ziwa).

Transfer to Murchison Falls NP & Afternoon Game Drive (2–6 PM):

Scenic Drive (2.5 hours): Enter the park via Kichumbanyobo Gate.

Game Drive: Explore the Buligi Circuit for elephants, giraffes, lions, and buffalo.
Meals: Breakfast at hotel, lunch at Amuka Lodge, dinner at Pakuba Lodge.

Your day starts with an early breakfast before setting out on a 3.5-hour 4x4 transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting guided trek on foot, led by expert rangers, to track Uganda’s only wild rhinos.

Morning Game Drive & Top of the Falls Hike (6:30–10 AM):

Sunrise drive through the Delta Circuit, spotting hyenas, hartebeests, and birds.

Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls (30 minutes) for thunderous views of the Nile squeezing through a 7m gorge.

Nile Boat Cruise to the Falls (11 AM–1 PM):

Cruise from Paraa Jetty to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds.

Lunch: Return to Pakuba Lodge for a meal.

Transfer to Entebbe (1–7 PM):

Scenic 6-hour drive back, stopping in Masindi for refreshments.

Drop-off at Entebbe Airport for evening departure.
