Activities:

Morning Flight from Entebbe to Kihihi Airstrip (6:00–7:30 AM):

Take a domestic flight (Aerolink Uganda) from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip (1.5 hours).

Transfer to Lodge (1.5-hour drive): Scenic drive through rural villages and terraced hills of the Kigezi Highlands.

Check-in: Settle into your cottage and enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge.

Best Time To Visit June to August and December to February (Gorilla trekking is easiest)

Activities:

Gorilla Trekking (7:00 AM–1:00 PM):

Briefing: Arrive at Bwindi’s Rushaga Sector park headquarters by 7:00 AM for orientation.

Trek (2–6 hours): Hike through dense forest with guides to find a habituated mountain gorilla family. Spend 1 hour observing their behavior.

Post-Trek: Receive a certificate and return to the lodge for lunch.

Transfer to Kihihi Airstrip & Flight to Entebbe (2:00–5:00 PM):

Drive back to Kihihi Airstrip (1.5 hours).

Fly to Entebbe (1.5 hours), connecting to your international departure.
