Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha) you will be met by Nasikia Safaris’ representative who will welcome you, brief you shortly and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

In the morning after breakfast at your accommodation, you will be picked up by your private driver guide and take you straight to Tarangire. It is one of the largest parks of Tanzania that covers an area of 2,600 square kilometres. Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. More than 300-strong herds of elephant, visitors will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lions and leopards. During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country.
There are wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk, plus more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. You will have picnic lunch boxes where you will have them inside the park in the afternoon. After lunch and further game viewing, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

In the morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After that you will descend down to the crater which is 600m deep. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide range of birds’ species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool and after that you will drive straight to the heart of Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Central Serengeti to North Serengeti following great migration & Mara river crossing

Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation, we will drive straight to the far north of Serengeti National Park known as Kogatende to follow the great migration of more than a million of wildebeests accompanied by hundred thousands of Zebras and antelopes. During July – October, the wildebeest are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the great Mara River. As the sight of the wildebeest crossing the so dramatic, it is considered by many the most desirable time to see the migration. You will not only see the migration of wildebeests but also other animals such as predators hunting their prey and other birds’ species at the area. After lunch and extensive game viewing, you will drive straight to your carefully selected accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Full day on the North Serengeti(Kogatende)

Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation, we will proceed our game drive on the northern Serengeti (Kogatende) following the great migration. You will spend this full day on the northern Serengeti for game viewing and if you’re lucky enough you can spot the crossing at the Mara river as well as crocodiles hunting their prey during the crossing. After lunch and game drive, you will head straight for your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

After a relaxed morning drive towards Central Serengeti spend the day observing wildlife in the Seronera Valley. The Seronera Valley offers lots of wildlife throughout the year including carnivores like hyenas, Lions, leopards and cheetah can often be found on and around these large rocky outcrops, as they offer a great vantage point to look over the plains in search of any prey, as well as ungulates including buffaloes, giraffes, hippopotami, impalas, topi, warthogs and zebras. You will have dinner and overnight at out careful chosen tented camp.

Day 7

Today, after a delicious breakfast, you will depart early for Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying a game drive along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful destination and one of the best places in East Africa to witness the Big Five. Recognized as one of the world's most stunning natural wildlife safari sites, it also offers a unique opportunity to engage with the Maasai people.
As you reach the crater’s edge, the vast 20 km-wide caldera unfolds before you in all its magnificent glory. You will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail, where you can witness an incredible diversity of wildlife. This World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals, including a variety of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino.
A hot lunch will be served at a picturesque picnic spot near the hippo pool. Afterward, you will continue exploring the crater before ascending and heading to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Early morning after breakfast at, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even for a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests. Lunch will be served inside the park and after further exploration of the park you will return to Arusha. Those who wish to combine this safari with a trip to Zanzibar can take a flight from the local Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
