3-Day Climbing Mountain of God (Ol Doinyo Lengai)

Arusha to oldoinyo Lengai

Drive to Mto Wa Mbu and enter the Great Rift Valley, passing via Engaruaka basin and into a semi-desert Area hot wild and dusty with extinct volcanos Kitumbene and Gelai off to the right and the Mountain of God Ol Doinyo Lengai always in front.
Around midday we arrive at Falls Camp on the banks of the Engaresero river, a welcome place to shower or bathe in the river, or take a trek to the waterfalls hidden in the Western wall of the rift valley.
Rest and around mid night drive to and start the climb of Lengai One should be able to see Lava glowing once at the peak.

Relaxing and visiting lake Natron

Enjoy the sunrise and the views up the Rift Valley as far as Kenya from top of oldoinyo lengai then Descent around lunch and enjoy lunch at hotel and relax to recover from climbing and during evening you will drive to Lake Natron one of the major Flamingo breeding grounds in East Africa – en-route visit a Massai “Boma” village.

Natron to Arusha

After breakfast you will driven back to Arusha (you may opt to visit lake Manyara National Park with additional cost after request )This is the last day of safari It will be organized to allow to you to have a trip around the city and visit different places including Cultural heritage coffee tour and masai market (if your flight schedule will allow ) and also to have time to buy some memories for yourself friends and family before the departure After that you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport and return home or continue your vacation on Zanzibar Island.
